Sanding this solid oak floor in the bedroom wasn’t as easy as we thought. A past leak under the floorboards and the moisture from the ensuite shower caused the floorboards to crown. Crowning, where the center of the board is raised and the edges dip down, is a common issue in wood flooring due to factors like moisture exposure. This just meant that sanding the floor took a bit longer.
